Fieldbar (Pty) Ltd (“Fieldbar", "we", "us", or "our”) strives to produce high quality, functional, and stylish products.
That is why we provide a limited 5-year workmanship warranty to registered owners ("you") in respect of certain
manufacturing and cosmetic defects, subject to the conditions set out below. *
*Note: Our cooler boxes and trunks and bottles are hand decorated and may contain small paint imperfections.
These are not considered to be manufacturing or cosmetic defects.
- The Drinks Box Cooler Box
- The Gin Trunk Cooler Box
- The Field Bottle
Textile and paper products are not covered by the warranty.
Functional manufacturing defects: Manufacturing defects resulting from errors in the creation of the product that cause it to not meet the quality standards the product is designed to meet (meaning it can no longer function for the intended use).
Significant cosmetic defects from manufacturing: A significant cosmetic defect is any characteristic which significantly hinders the aesthetics, e.g. multiple paint scuffs, paint marks, paint scratches or major colour variations between elements. Any cosmetic damages caused by your use of the product are not covered under the warranty, but can be repaired at a cost to you (see Field Hospital Programme).
- The product type must be eligible for the warranty (Drinks Box, Gin Trunk or Field Bottle).
- You must have purchased the product from the Fieldbar website store or an authorised retailer of Fieldbar products.
- You must have registered your product within 60 days of purchase on the Fieldbar Owners Club (even if received as a gift).
- You must have used the product only as intended and in accordance with the product's care instructions. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, the natural breakdown of colours and materials over an extended period of time, misuse or abuse.
- You must submit your warranty claim within the warranty period.
- In respect of warranty claims relating to alleged cosmetic defects, the product must be unused and returned in its original packaging.
- Outside of relevant consumer legislation, our warranty covers the cost of repair and does not apply to refunds. If we cannot repair a product that qualifies for warranty repairs, we will replace it. Repairs will not necessarily result in an 'as-good-as-new' product.
- You may be required to fulfil certain repairs yourself using repair kits which we will send to you.
- You are responsible for securely packaging a product returned under this warranty. Any damages incurred during transit will not be covered by this warranty.
- There may be some instances where limited edition Fieldbar products or paint colours are not available for repair or replacement. Functional manufacturing defects can still be repaired on limited edition products. Where a limited edition or discontinued product cannot be replaced with an identical product, the product will be replaced with a similar or equivalent model or colour based on availability.
- The warranty does not apply to any products which have been modified, customised, personalised, repaired or replaced by a third party.
- The warranty excludes damages from commercial use unless the product was purchased under the Fieldbar Hospitality Programme.
If you have successfully registered your eligible FIELDBAR product within 60 days of purchase and your product falls within its 5-year warranty window, you will be able to submit a warranty claim.Log in to your Owners Club account on fieldbar.co.za (South Africa) or fieldbar.com (international) and follow the prompts.
To the fullest extent permissible by law, Fieldbar disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited too, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Fieldbar will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of its products, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages.
Fieldbar's sole obligation under this warranty shall be repair or replacement of products which satisfy the warranty criteria set out above.

We believe that the most sustainable products are those that are properly made, cherished, and cared for by their owners.
And it's why all parts of our products are designed to be repaired, replaced and recirculated if required.

Cosmetic defects from reasonable wear and tear such as:
- Paint scratches
- Paint marks
- Paint scuffs
- Dents
- The product type must be eligible for the repair (The Drinks Box Cooler Box, The Gin Trunk Cooler Box, The Field Bottle Flask ).
- The product must have been registered on the Fieldbar Owners Club (even if received as a gift).
- Repairs are quoted on an individual basis.- The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to Fieldbar.
- The Field Hospital service is currently only available in South Africa.
